ENAL Archives Search

There are currently three different search engines available for searching the ENAL Archives: SimbleDB, AdvanceDB, and the Old Search Engine. The DB Search Engines are more up to date, and work well. However, they are still very new. All three search engines are below.

  • Our Old Search Engine performs a full text search across our older content, and is still the most reliable of the three search engines. Unfortunately, we can no longer easily fit our entire database into a flat file small enough to be loaded by this webserver.
  • SimpleDB Search is database driven, and performs a simple text search across all article headlines and bodies in our system.
  • AdvanceDB Search is datbase driven, and allows the user to limit their search using multiple select and text input fields.
